I always wanted to know more about you,

But you always hid things from me.

Actually it was me who never asked,

Because your scare was engulfed in me.

 

It was the fear due to your respect,

Because you loved me more than anything.

And now i see your condition,

And I promise to myself,”I will fix everything.”

 

But now when I know things about you,

I am sure you are no ordinary human being.

No one is born as a Gem like you,

And believe me, no one ever will.

 

When you had the upper hand,

You never thought about your comfort,

You spent every penny you got,

For the happiness of your loved ones.

 

You went on to be the King,

And earned so much respect.

Even though Pride never surrounded you,

But I am proud today, cause you are my Dad.

 

Whatever you did, you did it for your loves,

Still God went on to be cruel on you,

You welcomed all the pain with your open arms.

when you lost your job.

Because you had got daughters to marry,

And a son yet to be taught.

 

That's when I realized how great you are,

Because your love for us was clearly visible,

You never cared about the money,

And made us live in luxury.

 

I remember an incident,

You were lying in the hospital bed due to ulcer still smiling,

But suddenly I fainted,

And you reacted like you lost your life.

 

Your greatness never ended,

you helped two orphanages,

Also you daily fed a beggar who used to live in wood,

donated 20rs. to a stranger for food,

 

You seriously never cared about money,

because others happiness earned you your living.

 

God played so many tricks on you,

You lost the people you loved the most.

Still you hid your sadness for us,

And continued being bold.

 

Things are going worse on you,

God is punishing you for nothing.

But still, you are not thinking about yourself.

And giving your famiy your everything.

 

I can’t understand how you feeling,

Deep inside with so much responsibilities.

When even your close ones are costing you,

For giving you their facilities.

 

Hey Dad! Just never give up your pride.
